Issues with payment processing when submitting payment for PTET
LOUISVILLE, KY — There have been issues with payment processing when submitting payment for PTET. Some KyCPA members have reported clients that have ended up with duplicate payments, which has caused serious disruption to their accounts and business operations.
The Kentucky Department of Revenue has stepped up and is working hard to resolve the issue by processing a refund where the client made an additional payment.
To make sure that there is no confusion when resolving this issue, and to not duplicate efforts, please submit a list of clients/FEINs and amounts ONLY to Barbara Quackenboss, Executive Director, Office of Income Taxation at the Kentucky Department of Revenue at Barbara.Quackenboss@ky.gov and to include “PTET Duplicate Payments” in the subject line.
