The committee seeks to promote the ethical practice of the CPA profession through educational and enforcement activities. "First, the Professional Ethics Committee is the third committee I have worked on with KyCPA (I previously served on the Small Business Committee and on the Leadership Council). It's been my pleasure to work with a wide variety of talented people from all across the state while serving on these committees. I have always been interested in ethics and as a Certified Fraud Examiner as well as a CPA, I have come across and worked through a number of ethical issues during my 25 year career in public accounting. Serving on KyCPA's Professional Ethics Committee has allowed me the opportunity to learn more about ethical dilemmas that all of us face in our careers; to review and address real world cases involving ethical issues that arise in our business; and to help uphold the ethical standards of our profession.
