While a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an accountant, not every accountant is a CPA. CPAs are leaders, strategic thinkers and problem solvers. Proper accounting is integral to any businesses or operation's success and so CPAs are needed everywhere. They can work in a variety of areas, including public accounting, business and industry, technology, forensics, government and education, to name just a few.

The post-bac certificate in accounting (CPA preparation) will help you learn how to communicate financial information about a business to shareholders, managers, investors, regulators, and the general public. It will prepare you for the full range of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements; recording business transactions in order to keep track of a firm’s liabilities, assets, income, and expenses; working with new technologies; and developing and using information systems.
