An overview of everything ethics including the history of ethics and the CPA profession, our ethical responsibilities as CPAs,  and a discussion of how those involved in and close to perpetrated fraud reacted as it relates to ethical principles.  

Objectives

• Understand that professional codes of conduct should be followed and sometimes you will still need to make ethical judgments that fall outside of these codes of conducts
• Be familiar with various concepts of Behavioral Ethics and their impact on ethical decision making
• Explore how many recent and past ethical scandals are directly attributed to various biases, pressures, and situational factors through case study and other interactive discussions
• Understand 4 Steps to Acting Ethically
